Hello!

I've mentioned this year's Bluetooth Innovation World Cup in an earlier post, but I wanted to remind you about it, because the contest is now open to submissions.

As before, the Bluetooth Innovation World Cup is focusing on innovation enabled by the Bluetooth 4.0 specification, which has Bluetooth low energy as its hallmark feature. The competition is open from now until September 15h. Texas Instruments is a proud sponsor of the Bluetooth Innovation World Cup.

In addition to the sponsorship, we are giving away free CC2540 Bluetooth low energy development kits to the first 20 developers who submit prototypes to the contest. After the free kits are gone, we are still offering a discount of 50% on the CC2540DK-MINI development kit to all participants submitting prototypes in the Bluetooth Innovation World Cup. So, no excuses, get to work and make some great Bluetooth low energy devices! The main prize in the contest is USD $5000 in cash, a Bluetooth certification vouncher worth up to $10000 and a Bluetooth protocol analyzer (in addition to some fame and lots of free publicity, of course).

Make sure you sign up at www.InnovationWorldCup.com if you have a great idea, prototype or product based on Bluetooth 4.0.

Best regards,

Karl
