Calling all students! Register your project in TI’s design contest

The 2014 Innovation Challenge Design Contest for the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico is now open!

To compete, students must use 3 or more TI analog ICs in their design project or 2 analog ICs and a TI processor. Register today to receive a $200 TI eStore coupon to help jump start your project design. Your final project reports are due to be submitted by May 24, 2014.

Order all the free ICs you need through the TI free sample program at To remain eligible in the contest, be sure your project incorporates either 3 different TI analog ICs, or 2 analog ICs and a TI processor. You project will be judged on the following:

  • Originality/creativity of design (10 points)
  • Complexity & quality of design (10 points)
  • Level of engineering analysis (10 points)
  • Quality of written description of how performance/parameters of TI analog integrated circuit or TI processor benefited the overall design (10 points)
  • Usage of TI ICs and processors:
    • 100% of TI parts (10 points)
    • 75% (6 points)
    • 50% (4 points)
    • <25% (2 points)
  • Video of working demo (10 points)
The last day to submit your final projects is May 24, 2014.
