Good afternoon All!
I checked in Readme.txt file (C: \ Program Files \ Texas Instruments \ eZ430-Chronos \ Software Projects \ Chronos Watch \ eZ430-Chronos v1.1 - white PCB):
"The projects in the folder Chronos v1.1 (white PCB) Currently only include the CCS projects (except for the RF BSL). Moreover, these projects require a full license of the Corresponding IDE.
An update is planned to be provided shortly.
The code may be used on the old Chronos v1.0 watche as well as the new one v1.1 (white PCB). It Determines the HW variant During run time."
I tried to update the firmware for the IAR tools and BMInivations and sensors (accelerometer, barometer) crashed. Upgrading Wireless Control Center does not work. But the rest works! My version is 433MHz.
I do not have to update the CCS and the free version does not support the eZ430-Chronos.
Please, how can I get the update expected shortly for IAR compiler?
Have you considered putting the 433MHz model on sale too?
My version 433 Black PCB does not have the RF balun (U2). All other feature. Maybe this is a source of communication problems.
Would anyone like to buy my watch? Make an offer!
@ Ross Curly
We will not be offering the 433 MHz version this time.
Can you please clarify what questions you need answered?
Also, can you confirm you are using the latest software version from this link?
I don't think the latest installation has the folder path you mentioned. In the folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\eZ430-Chronos\Software Projects\Chronos Watch\
There are 2 folders & 1 file. All projects in both CCS & IAR are provided. The readme.txt also mentions that the projects can be used for both old & new versions of the Chronos.
Ordered - good presents for good friends :) Thanks for the tip!
Can this watch be ordered by individual person not by company/university? (in chart form there is a place to put company name and company url)
This can be ordered by individuals. If the company field doesn't make sense for you, feel free to enter "not applicable."
I have second question, in which stage of finalizing the sale appears box for entering coupon code?
@TomK512 at the end just before you need to chose your payment method, i have ordered mine yesterday :)
