Tom Flanagan, director of marketing strategy for wireless base station - Did you ever try to explain multicore at a party? I don't recommend it. When I am asked what I do I say I work for a team that makes the stuff that is at the other end of a wireless phone call. That often ends the conversation. But believe it or not this is a really fun business. Wireless communications are integral to the lives of billions of people and I love that but it is the team of incredibly smart, dedicated and caring people I work with every day that make this job great.

Debbie Greenstreet, director of strategic marketing for wireless base station – I am proud to say that I am part of a team that helps deploy exciting new technology that impacts the world and daily telephone usage. It’s exciting to witness what users create with the technology offered. It seems that the more innovated and advanced the technology is, the more users find it fresh and exciting and think of highly creative ways to implement it. Multicore SoCs are no exception; developers take advantage of new solutions we offer and in turn provide ideas and feedback to us for exciting new features and capabilities.  I am anxious to hear from bloggers and viewers on the Multicore Mix to expand that exchange of ideas on technology and applications!
