I found the three-part series about Multicore Navigator Tips 'n Tricks very helpful in understanding the various ways it can be used. In particular, using the Queue Manager for Notification purposes as a means to avoid moving data and improve efficiency was very appealing.

I enjoyed reading your post last year about employing multicore technologies in security cameras (e2e.ti.com/.../intelligence-at-the-edge.aspx) - it really highlighted to me how evolving technologies can be used to offset data processing from servers sitting in farms somewhere to the point of data collection. It also inspired me to use this process to reduce server costs in some of my own designs, plus the mere fact that the modern chips like those from TI can do all those calculations is mind-boggling!

I love how multicore finally allows us to accomplish everything we're capable of. I can't even imagine working on single core processors anymore. It truly was a breakthrough and I'm still in awe of how they were able to develop something like this and continue to improve it to this day.
