&lt;p&gt;Thanks for your comments and great questions. &amp;nbsp;I actually posed a similar question on this blog last May regarding multicore entitlement; we have yet to see any standard approach for benchmarking multicore performance. &amp;nbsp;As far as the benefits of Multicore Navigator, we have received more qualitative data (versus quantitative) back from customers, similar to what I mentioned in the blog. &amp;nbsp;That is, as customers have started to develop with the Multicore Navigator, they are finding first that it is helping in the planning and use case benchmarking process. &amp;nbsp;They have committed to using the Navigator as they see the follow on benefit of optimizing the power of all the cores across their application, and then ultimately being able to update the application in the future without a total reprogram.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Good article. Thanks. Do you recommend any specific multicore benchmarking tools? Also, do you have any quantitative data about how much overhead can be saved by using the Multicore Navigator?&lt;/p&gt;
