Um... NO! That watch may have cool Bluetooth technology, but it lacks STYLE.
I'd rather spend full price on the latest versions at http://www.metawatch.com/
Yes, I have to agree. I would have jumped on this if the deal applied to the MSP-WDS430BT2000D instead. They are both the same price in the TI store when not on sale.
I can't find any decent documentation, can anyone help me? And the important question - has the watch BLE support? (according to wikipedia only the newer ones had enabled support, and a watch with Bluetooth 2.1 is just pointless for me).
It would be nice if anyone could answer my questions.
This watch is Bluetooth only. There is a developer forum with a lot of useful information here: www.metawatch.org/forums
Out of style, but useful!
Is the hardware schematics available somewhere? Quick search gave only references to WDS112 schematics. If the watch is documented as Chronos is, it would be pretty nice for experimenting.
You can post on the Metawatch developer forum and the team is pretty good about helping out in any way they can.
I went to TI estore and it told me the coupon code expired. So sad!
