There are no bones about it! The BeagleBone was a huge hit at the TI booth this week at DESIGN West. Not only were we showing live demos, we were also giving BeagleBones to people that participated in the Tool Swap program by swapping out a competitor’s development tool.

We welcomed customers, hobbyists and anyone interested in getting a live look at the Bone. When Duane Benson from ECN stopped by, he was really impressed by all of TI’s small, low-cost development boards. Benson said, “TI is doing an amazing job of making evaluation of their chips easy and inexpensive” in his article, “Beagle-not-Board.”

There was a full house at the Android Certification program where developers honed their Android skills on a BeagleBone . Many of the participants stopped by the booth to see all of the add-on hardware that CircuitCo and other cape developers had to offer to extend the platform.

Were you at the show? Did you walk away with a BeagleBone? Tell us what you plan to do with it.
