At Maker Faire New York in September, MAKE will be presenting the Makey Awards to recognize companies and products making "outstanding contribution to the cause of maker-related education and/or open access to technology." Thanks to the excellent innumerable contributions of BeagleBoard.org community members, a handful which were mentioned the announcement that BeagleBoard.org has been nominated for one of those awards in the category of Hackable Gadgets:
