I understood that customer can use own ethernet/IP stack with current ethernet driver and lwip(TCP/IP stack).

Could you give us some documentation for helping customer porting, like as porting guide, sample code and so on?

Hi,

I imported two AM335x Starter Kit from Digikey - USA and yesterday the kits arrived for me in Brazil.

The first thing I did, was followed the User´s Guide. I chose for one of the operating systems Linux or Android from TI SDCARD and power on the kit´s.

To my surprise, nothing happened, did not happen in the boot Linux and Android, but the user´s led work and power led too.

I connected the kit´s in my PC using the Serial Console in the linux Ubuntu, and the following message appeared:

Are the two hardwares with problem ? I hope not, because it is very expensive to import into Brazil and I spend much money !!!

Is my first experience with TI Products because I am using Microchip in my projects, and I never had problems with the Microchip products.

I'm hoping someone can help me, and I have not bought two weights of roles I've had more expensive (USD 900.00)

Latest Sitara SYS/BIOS Industrial Software Development Kit (SDK) for AM335x ARM Cortex-A8 Processors Now Avaliable

Hello Michi,

We plan to release EtherNet/IP and ProfiNet support in SDK towards March/April 2013 timeline. Currently the SDK integrates ethernet driver (for our gigabit switch interface) and lwip stack (TCP/IP). There is a lwip based ethernet example available in SDK. If customers have their own stack, they can look porting that on top of lwip and ethernet driver. Most of the EtherNet/IP stacks run on top of standard TCP/IP socket interface.

I would like to confirm one thing for this version SDK01.00.00.06.

You said that it is also supported Ethernet/IP. Is there some sample code in the SDK?

Then, our customer would like to use own ehtenet/IP protocol stack. Is it possible with this latest version of SDK?
