Why there is only 4 REs in a SimpliciTI network?

 Hello All,Now,I'm Trying to use SimpliciTI,but there is a question about the RE。

Why currently networks are limited to 4 Range Extenders?

Hi, 

This is because the range extenders are "stupid" and will replay any SimpliciTI message without any intelligence.

To limit network storms and the possibility to jam down ones own network this was limited to four and the idea is that you extend the range of your star network with a RE in each direction, north, east, south and west.
