How let DMA transmit data repeatedly?

Hi,guys,

     I write a program to transmit data from memory to McBSP's DXR by DMA,

and now I want to transmit data repeatedly, but after the McBSP started the dma just transmit memory data once,

are there somebody know how to setup DMA to make it work repeatedly.

TMS320VC5402, thanks you first.

I want to know which register control  data buffer pointer, I think after once transmitting,

maybe the pointer is not reset to the first position of my buffer.

I would suggest you take a look at an existing application note that illustrates how to use the McBSP and DMA by interfacing to an AIC24 codec.

This TMS320C54xx McBSP to TLV320AIC24 Interface application note (SPRA957) has example code that you can utilize.
