I was trying to clean up an URL in a post using the HTML button. This used to work - now it doesn't.
Which post were you having this issue with? Any further specifics on edits you were trying to make and issues you experienced in doing so?

I was simply trying to edit a URL like: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC256x_MT_UART_BRIDGE
and make it look cleaner by changing the actual text that was displayed. I used to do this by hitting the HTML button and modifying the
<a href="http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC256x_MT_UART_BRIDGE"> and removing the quoted text and replacing it with my one like CC256x_MT_UART_BRIDGE.
Now, this does not yeild the desired effect - in fact, it yeilds NO effect whatsoever.
For changing the displayed text for any link:
Open the HTML window in the rich text editor and in-between the ">" and "</a>" input the desired text you want to have displayed like the above. This will then render the link like the below.
Hope this helps and let me know if you need anything else.
Oh, for crying out loud! Did I edit the wrong text?
Must not be my day today. :-)
