Thread title missing in browser tab

When opening a thread of the E2E support forum in a browser tab, the thread title isn't shown in the tab label or the title bar. All tabs (and the wbrowser window title bar) only show "E2E" (this is with IE8).
On MSP430 forum, the tab labels and th etitle bar correctly show the thread title.

On a reply/edit post page, the thread title is never shown anywhere. The Tab label and the title bar both show just the forum name. Same for the thread page after posting something.
However, for the reply/edit page this was the case too even before the latest update. Just after posting, the page title was "Red: thread title" before the update and is now just "forum name".

When opening several threads in multiple tabs, this can be really confusing. Especially since on the reply page the link to the thread does no longer appear in the 'breadcrumb'  right below the black menu bar. So it's easy to lose track of the thread topic if the post you are replying to doesn't contain this information (maybe because it is a reply already)

    Hi Jens-Michael,

I am the new Community Moderator and I will be assisting Blake and Foe on here. I see that you are a Guru and are very helpful on e2e. I appreciate your commitment to the community and look forward to working more with you.

Concerning your issue, I have checked and I experience this same issue in Chrome, as well as IE. However I have not experienced this in Firefox. This issue has been noted.

    Jens-Michael,

Did this change with our recent upgrade or is this the way its always been?

    Welcome on board :)

Then I hope your opinion about me won't turn into "pain in the a**" :)

Currently using FF10, I experience the same. All tabs and window titles are just "E2E" for this (and maybe other) forum(s) but not for MSP430. (I usually don't read/post anywhere else than on MSP430)

Sorry, I cannot tell. My last visit here was some time ago and I don't remember/didn't care for. I returned here only after the update, so I have no clue.

One other thing I noticed: on every thread page of this forum, I get the 'favorite this forum' link, but not the 'favorite this thread' link. This might be related. In the MSP430 forum, I get both links when reading a thread. (well, 'favorite this forum' is a bit odd on a thread page anyway).
Maybe a false flag that lets the skin act as if in the forum overview and not on a thread page.

    Jens-Michael,

FF10 was the firefox that lasted like 48 hours because of all the issues it had.  We have a lot of incompatibility issues with FF10.  That is just a side note :)

I sent him the bug around the tab issues and we will take a look at that.

I don't think that will be an issue :) We're all just trying to make the site more resourceful. Have you upgraded FF? I have not seem many issues (personally) with the new FF.

    My mistake. It's really FF11.
Strange enough, I upgraded FF one or two days later at home form the same source (both a FireFox Portable installation) and got FF12 installed. I wonder whether we'll see FF20 before the end of the year?
