Cannot insert links in posts

Hi Guys,

I have noticed a problem, when I'm trying to insert a link it's not working.

Steps to reproduce the problem:

  • In editing window write some word
  • Highlight this word and click on "Insert/edit link" (chain icon)
  • In the pop up window, under "Link URL" field write or paste the desired link
  • Click on "Insert"
At this point the link in "Link URL" field will be changed back to the highlighted word
and the pop up window won't closed automatically.
I have recently updated the chrome browser to the latest version 19.0.1084.56, so
maybe this is a known issue?
By the way, before the update all worked fine.
Thank you in advance for any kind of response, have a nice day.

Br,

Igor

    Igor,

Thanks for reporting. Can you reply back with doing your steps above and leave the link incorrect. I can then check the HTML directly to see what might be going on.

    Hi

    Link for example

Ok, so I have some new input on this one. Now I'm posting from another PC

using chrome version: 19.0.1084.46 m. Guess what, everything is working

perfectly, so may be this problem exist only in version 19.0.1084.56 of chrome

    browser.

I'm going to update chrome version and and post again

    Br,

    example link

    Using chrome browser 19.0.1084.56

    Seems like the problem disappeared.

I'll check it again tomorrow at my office and let you know.

    Anyway, thanks for your time.

I checked it on my office desktop, it happens only when using chrome browser

(it works fine when using Firefox and IE8).

Something called "WinToFlash Suggestor" prevented from adding links.

Uninstalling this program solved the issue.
