Not able to get the reply button for a specific query thread

I am not able to get the Reply button for a specific post on the e2e forum after logging in.

For all the others threads on the same forum, I am getting the Reply button but not for this specific query

Where to post a TAS3204EVM question

I would like to post a question regarding TAS3204EVM and how to use only the boards USB-I2C communication portion, to connect to an external production board.

However, I'm a bit confused over the forum, and where such a question would reside.

Website keeps crashing on iPad

Hello,

The TI website has made some great improvements over the last couple months. There is however one problem I keep having. The site causes the browser on my iPad to crash, very often.

It appears to happen when I go from any of the forum sites to the TI E2E Community page and try to click on a contributor. It also happens if the iPad is turned back on and the browser was open and I was still logged in. After viewing a few more TI Community pages and clicking on the a page number at the bottom, it would crash.

Would you like me to send a crash report the next time it happens?

Eth1 unable to get dhcp lease

Hi all,

Iam facing problem in bringing up ethernet interface to bring up two ethernet ports in our custom board.

I have configured kernel dual emac mode implementation.

we are using IC plus chip for ethernet interface.

we are using one ic plus chip for each interface.

eth0 : able to detect phy print mac address link speed and also able to get dhcp lease and ping as well

where as

eth1 is able to detect phy mac address, link speed but it is failing to get lease from dhcp server.

it retries for 3 retrials and skips

sending discover ....

NO lease failing

if we set static ip it is taking if i ping to some other ip in the network it is hanging.

Can't view posted pics and download zip file

In this thread below, I am unable to view the attached pics or download zip file. When I click the pics or zip file a window appears with a message "403 - Forbidden Access Denied". Do I need special access???

Please help! I have this very small cylinder from TI. The part # looks to be TIL09 or TI609, I can't tell. I will try to attach a pic. It may be a light sensor, it may be a transistor, it may be a diode. I have no idea.

Is it possible to combine my current account and old account? Somehow, I was unable to access my old account back then, so I made a new account which is my current. If possible, I would like to request my two accounts my current and old to be combined as one(my current account).

After posting a couple of questions in OMAP-L138 Forum TI company started to email me spams on my recognition.

I cannot care less about my recognition and I totally protest against this policy.

Please provide instructions on how to opt out of receiving TI spam.

I have PrivateTI_IPNC_RDK_DM812x_DM385_v3.0.0-Linux-x86-Install.bin,First i install the bin file it create source,doc,hardware,utils,binaries, then i add the source directory and type make all command but its take more then one hour also showing some error. i want to compile for ipnc_mcfw i tried

Dear TI:

You average response time on your tech support forums is 3-5 days per post in the Low Power RF forum. This is grossly inefficient since most complex problems take about 10-15 posts to actually solve. I think it's obvious that you need to hire a larger amount of employees with better technical skills.

I tried going through the other route, the "Email Semiconductor Technical Support," but the response is always the same: "Please go to our forums!"

My company is dropping a TI product because we could not get adequate tech support to solve our Ti product issues within a timely manner. Thank you for your time.

Embedding code in posts

I am not sure if I am retarded or what, but I am unable to find a way to embed code in my post.

The forum script clearly lacks button for formatted code block. I do not believe there is no such option. The editor seems to be very primitive and I see no option to change it!

Can anyone point me in right direction?

Not finding the New Post option on almost every screen

I am writing this post to complain that the site does not provide the new post option from all the major forum screens. It is very frustrating trying to find a place where you can add a new post. Most of my posts have been added to already listed posts because it is not easy to find a place to start a new conversation. Why isn't this available from EVERY category's main screen?

Is it possible that the TI employees don't see this issue because they are always answering posts and not creating many new posts? Or do you have more options that we users don't have on your screens?

Thread by deleted user shows up as empty in IE8

In thread http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/compiler/f/343/t/252634.aspx, a user points out that threads started by a certain deleted user do not show up properly in IE8 on Windows XP. The thread shows up as empty and answered. I tried this myself with IE8 on Windows 7, and the thread appears empty to me, too. This works fine in Firefox.

E2E forum interface change

Hi,

As I noticed today (15.3.2013) E2E site changed the look of links in the forum. Visually I have no complaint about it, but functionally all the links look the same. The subject that I visited and the subject that I have not visited. So I have no way of telling whether there is some new post since my last visit or not. I would really like that the system reverts back to previous look and feel (more importantly)

It might by my browser issue, but I doubt it since it did not update in the last few days

Can't change subscribed e-mail address

I'm trying to change the e-mail address where my E2E notifications go. My E2E "Settings" page won't let me change it, so I changed the e-mail address associated with my.Ti login. But my E2E e-mail address still didn't change.

The SPAM filter on the company e-mail server has started identifying the E2E notifications as SPAM since the most recent E2E software upgrade. That's why I want to change the e-mail address where my E2E notifications are going.

Help?

Starting this morning (7-Feb) when I go the the 'Power Management' Forum and select 'All Recent', I don't see any way to go to the next page, or any different page #.

If I drop down one forum level, say to 'Power Management > Linear Regulators' the ability to go to the next page (or any other page #'s) is there at the bottom.

This page function is available at the highest level, ( TI Home » TI E2E Community » Support Forums ), it disappears when I go down one level ( TI Home » TI E2E Community » Support Forums » Power Management ), and reappears if I go down one more level ( TI Home » TI E2E Community » Support Forums » Power Management » Linear Regulators )

How can I see my desired search results? My search phrase is, "csm asm." I see the preview of the results. However, when I go to open one of the posts, the result I get is, "Group no found." How do I correct this?

BIOS forum emails are delayed and delivered out of order

This morning two of us responded to a forum thread within a minute or so of each other. I was second to reply and my email arrived 3.5 hours later. The email from the guy who replied just before me just arrived now, about 5 hours later.

Can someone please do what is necessary to fix this?
