"Quote" doesn't wrap long lines

This question is answered
Guru13910 points

Hi,

I frequently found in posts that "quote" seems to lack long line wrapping ability:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Times_New_Roman#Times_Roman_and_Times_New_Roman

Times New Roman is a serif typeface commissioned by the British newspaper The Times in 1931, created by Victor Lardent at the English branch of Monotype.[1] It was commissioned after Stanley Morison had written an article criticizing The Times for being badly printed and typographically antiquated.[2

And I have impression that several months ago this problem didn't exist.

Is there a way to fix it?

Zheng

    Zheng,

Sorry for the inconvenience. This is a known issue at the moment which we are hoping to wrap up asap this month.

    Zheng,

Quick update. We are currently on track to have the quoting issue fixed this week. I'll post another update once it goes live.

    Hi,

It's not related to "Quote wrapping", however here's a link to a post with

some "long lines wrapping" issue. Thought it might be helpful.

    Checked on:

    1. Google chrome v16.0.912.63
    2. IE8 and 9 (I know that IE9 isn't supported yet)
    3. Firefox 7.0.1

    Igor,

I don't see any link to a thread in your post. Is there a specific thread you were hoping to show this issue on? Please let me know so I can review further.

I've seen cases where some HTML tags inserted or long URLs break the quote box.

    Igor,

Thanks for the link. An HTML "pre" tag was causing it to bleed off to the right. I've fixed the two posts there.

By the way if you spot any other threads with posts like that with text bleeding and pushed off to the right, let me know and I'll fix.
