Many of these engineers are seasoned, knowledgeable, and dedicated engineers who get many requests from a variety of design engineers at their accounts.

“Over the years,” says Ellis, “the team has migrated from one-to-one support to directing those engineers to use E2E as much as possible. Initially, there was a concern that their technical questions would not get attention or perhaps they would have to wait many days before they received any response.”

To mitigate these fears and to continue to work towards TI's goal of providing the best support ever, Ellis and the team use various pieces of functionality within E2E including the ‘Friend’ and ‘Subscribe’ features to ensure they see every post an FAE submits. These functions contribute to the team’s goal of answering and resolving design issue questions on E2E quickly.

“As we make it easier and quicker to get the answers and the dialogue customers need, and build a knowledge base that they can trust, we all win,” says Ellis. “And E2E is making this a reality.”

Jason Vorel, Manager of Americas Customer Support Center and Centralized Applications, says of Ellis, "Leonard is passionate about collaborating with customers in the design of their products. E2E provides him with a great platform for synthesizing the knowledge across great minds throughout the industry and within TI."

Hear more about Leonard's experiences with E2E in this video. I didn't find help here, however, as it turned out to be a bug in the user's guide (which was corrected after I discovered what was going on based on my own experiments).

While I was hoping for an answer, I browsed through the other threads and found many interesting discussions and challenging problems. And many of them gave me inspiration for my own improvements and new features for my firmware. Also, I like solving puzzles."
- Jens-Michael Gross - E2E Guru

"When starting my first MSP430 project, I also started to use TI's Code Composer Studio (CCS) v4 IDE. I was struggling with the linker command file (since I used IAR tools in the past for most of my projects) on creating a custom segment in flash. While I was searching for answers I hit TI's E2E community (I was not aware of it before). I posted my first question on E2E and got it answered within a few hours. Great!"
- aBUGSworstnightmare - E2E Guru

See More E2E Success Stories >

Statistics

Engineers from over 200+ countries participate on E2E

Returning customers average 31% on a weekly basis

Over 125,000+ community members

3,000 new community members join each week

E2E has seen a 46% growth in participation in 2012 alone

E2E has over 800,000 posts in the E2E knowledge base which allows anyone needing to quickly search for answers to find what they are looking for

E2E has over 200 Blog Experts posting on our 20+ TI E2E Blogs

Currently each E2E forum thread is seen over 200+ times

Wiki Page: E2E Statistics

Engineers from over 200+ countries participate on E2E

Returning customers average 32% on a weekly basis

Over 125,000+ community members

3,000 new community members join each month

E2E has seen a 58% growth in average annual participation from 2012 to 2013 alone

E2E has over 800,000 posts in the E2E knowledge base which allows anyone needing to quickly search for answers to find what they are looking for

E2E has over 200 Blog Experts posting on our 15+ TI E2E Blogs

Currently each E2E forum thread is seen over 170+ times

Forum Post: RE: forum search

Sviss,

We are investigating some search improvements now and we will add this item to our list to understand if case sensitivity inside the search term is something that can be disabled. Thank you for pointing out the issue.

Forum Post: RE: Embedding code in posts

Robert/Maciej,

We are investigating some system updates that will allow code to be entered properly. We hope to ahve some updates shortly as we continue our investigation.

Forum Post: RE: The attachment file SIZE.

Sunil,

We have a generous file size limit on E2E but have restrictions on File type to prevent SPAM. What type of file are you attempting to load and what is the file size? We can investigate potential issues that you may be encountering.

Forum Post: Email Formatting

No matter where I go on the E2E site, profile area, etc. and enter my email address or website, the built-in format checker says my entry in invalid, so I can't provide the group any Internet information. Maybe TI company could make an Alliance with any cellphone's software developer for making the software and for permiting that the calculator may download calculus problems plus more mathematical apps others have created.

A chat, like the one BlackBerry has, or like wassap could be made for the calculator just so that people who are trying to solve a problem can communicate among them.

Android, IOS and blackberry's system could be able to work in a Texas Instrument! It would be cool, this way you can also navegate through the internet and search right there for any information you might be needing in the moment, while doing your problem solving.

A telephone could be placed in a Texas Instrument, or at least make it able to your cellphone to connect via bluetooth with your Texas Instrument, for sharing the calculator's data with others through internet.

Forum Post: test post

Just a test post

Forum Post: RE: Not able to get the reply button for a specific query thread

Amarinder,

I am not sure who locked the thread originally. It has been unlocked.

Forum Post: RE: Where to post a TAS3204EVM question

Reg,

I believe that the best location will be the Digital Audio Converters forum. There are some posts on the TAS3204 in there.

http://e2e.ti.com/support/data_converters/audio_converters/f/64/t/131621.aspx

Forum Post: RE: New Guru without points
He's got two posts, why does he have 0 points?
Don, it seems that the script that fetches the value for points and title etc. has two problems. The first one is that it seems to sometimes fail to retrieve the required information (which causes the title and the points not to be updated instead of being set to an error value like 'unknown' or '-1'), the second is that it doesn't reset these values before fetching the information beforr processing the next post in the tread. As a result, the member with the not retrievable info 'inherits' the values that were successfully fetched for the user that wrote the post above it (if any).
