5.2) Sharing Forum Thread Discussions

The new forum sharing functionality will now enable E2E members to use a blind carbon copy feature to easily share their forum posts with others. Similar to email, each new forum post that you create can be shared with both E2E members and non-E2E members, by simply adding their email address to your post. Also, similar to that of the new subscription and friending upgrades, any information that you share will remain private.  

As displayed in the image below, there are two separate ways to copy individuals to your new forum posts, depending on how you are connected to them. 

1. If you are interested in informing one of your existing TI E2E Community friends of your new forum post, begin by typing their username into the field titled “BCC friends to this post” and their name will automatically populate. Once you click “post”, then your copied friends will receive an email notification, informing them of the new post that you have shared with them. 

2. If you want to share a new forum post with someone who is not your friend on the TI E2E Community, or with someone who isn’t yet a member of the community, then you would use the field titled “Want to notify others who are not your friend on the TI E2E Community?” In this field you can add up to 10 email addresses for the distribution of your new post.

Finally, whether you are sending a notification to one of your existing friends or not, we have added the ability to include a private message to any of the new forum posts that you share.
