The Reward & Recognition Program is a way to recognize each member’s contributions to the TI E2E Community. There are numerous ways in which people can contribute to the community, including: asking and answering questions, verifying answers and rating community content, connecting with fellow engineers and adding new content, among others. Each contribution to the TI E2E Community is rewarded with a designated point value.

How to Earn Points
The program is very simple. Various activities on the site have points associated with them, and when a community member does that activity he or she will receive that many points. Specifically, here’s the current set of activities and points for each community activity:

How do you track Wiki edits in e2e account? Are Wiki and e2e accounts connected?
Hi Constantine,
The wiki pages, edits and comments are referring to activities performed within the "Design Notes" section of each Forum Group. The system does not currently track wiki edits from any external TI wikis, but it is being considered to add that feature in the future.
I hope this answers your question. Thanks!
AF
Hello,
I assume that edits to your wiki site http://processors.wiki.ti.com are tracked too, correct?

Hi Derek,
Unfortunately, no they are not...at least not yet anyway. You can find more on this discussion in the comments section of the Ti.com Blog - e2e.ti.com/.../ti-e2e-community-launches-new-reward-amp-recognition-program.aspx
I wonder aht the "physical rewards" will be??
How do I validate a response?
@Chatto...by clicking the "verify answer" button. If you post a question once its answered we ask that you verify it.
How do you add a blog?
@Andrew....only TIers can create blogs at this time
The points system requires a revision to encourage quality postings. There are postings "How to install ccs3.3" or "how to compile a c program" and "Reporting a bug in assembler / Compiler / hardware behaviour". If all these posting get the same 10 points, the most naive user will become expert!
I think a community member locating a bug/missing feature and duly acknowledged by TI should be rewarded 100 points. Correct?

2 years ago I started a project in a company which used a TI processor. During my working period I got more than 800 points on the E2E. Later the company split so my mail was changed and I was forced to start a new E2E account losing all my previous points.
Now I have around 250 points.
Can the points I earned before be added to my current points?
@Nir - Yes we can combine your accounts. Private message me with a link to your old profile page and a link to your new profile page and I will join the two accounts together
This is a cool concept
@Andy Justice:
When I became guru right after the program was introduced, I got a $100 code for the TI shop. When being elected for the contributor of the year 2010, I got a lifetime free code for MSP tools as well as an invitation to the 2011 ATC (which was cancelled). This was officially announced in the MSP forum.
@Mokan Kanna:
Indeed, posts like " I'm paid for a project, can you writ eme the code for free? " shouldn't get any points.
Also, some clever people verify their own 'thanks for the answer' post. Surely not the intention of the inventor. However, I'm in the lucky position to look at this veeeery relaxed. :)
@Foe/Nir Aloni:
Can't you change yourmail address in the profile page? Oh, I see, you cannot, the field is read-only. The question is: why?
@Jens Michael - E2E using the my.TI login. Any changes to email should be done by logging into the my.TI login at the top of the TI header, from there on the my.TI homepage you can change all your contact information and preferences.
