PROJECT MSP-Robokit BoosterPack: 2012 Intern Design Challenge
If you have seen Battle Star Galactica then you know to watch out. The MSP-Robokit is the next step in the evolution. MSP-Robokit uses 3 IR sensors to detect objects, and the TI motor controller to perform evasive maneuvers. Once the MSP-Robokit has you scanned with its red LED eye, you know what happens next…
HOW IT WORKS:
It is an autonomous robot that will wander around aimlessly and avoid obstacles. It solely relies on the MSP430 Launchpad for all computational capability. The driver board will mount directly to the MSP430 Launchpad hardware through the existing headers. It contains all TI ICs. The PCB also contains a port for a UART to Bluetooth connection for the added capability of wireless control.
Simply program your MSP, turn on the power, and then give it a little tap on the back to get it started!
Thanks for checking us out and don't forget to vote!
