How to add your own LaunchPad Projects

Hello!
First off, thanks for supporting the MSP430 LaunchPad! There's nothing more exciting than seeing great new projects created by our growing online community! Keep them coming!

To add your own projects to the "Projects" tab, there are a few simple steps:

  1. You will first need to be logged into your TI e2e account (Register here).
  2. Once logged in, navigate to the "Projects" tab and click the link to add a new project.
  3. This will provide a WYSIWYG editor. In the tool bar, an "HTML" button is also available if you want to create your project page using HTML.
  4. A template is available here (shown below):
    1. 0334.Project_Template.txt
    2. To use this template, press the "HTML" button to open up the text/HTML editor.
    3. Copy-and-paste the HTML code provided in the attachment above into your editor.
    4. Within the HTML editor, press update.
    5. This should cause the template to show up in the WYSISYG editor.
    6. Now, modify the template to your liking!
  5. Be sure to give your Project a descriptive & concise name.
  6. Also, include useful "Tags" to your project to make it easy for other users to find your project!

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Use this section to explain what your MSP430 LaunchPad-based project is. What were your goals? What does it do? What problem does it solve? How does it work?

PROJECT FEATURES:

  • What are the top features
  • What makes your project unique
  • Is it wireless? 
  • Does it have sensors like accelerometers, temperature, etc?
  • Does it have energy harvesting like solar?
  • etc...

To embed video, copy and paste the direct URL to your YouTube video into the code above. If you want to add images, use the "Insert Image" button above.

RESOURCES: Using the "Insert File" button above, upload all of your code, design files, schematics, documentation, bill of materials (BOM), etc. I suggest you zip your content together and upload it as one large file.

USER'S GUIDE: Use this section to explain how someone can use your project. Feel free to include your "how-to-guide" directly on this webpage, or include it as an embedded file (word document, PDF, etc) using the "Insert File" button above.
