For the life of me, I can't figure out what the difference is between the TAS5352 and TAS5352A. I've compared most of the major items from the datasheets and they appear to be the same.
Can you please advice me as to what the difference is between the two devices? The website says that the TAS5352 is not recommended for new designs, and suggests that I use the "A" version, which is fine with me except that the disclaimer goes on to say that the two devices are, "functionally similar but not functionally equivalent."

I also have the same question. TI Tech Sales rep told me they are identical except the "A" has 3 additional output but did not say which one and where can I find in the data sheet. I thought is the Total Output of the Bridge Tied Load but the old version seems to have the same output.
The major difference between these two parts is that the reset behavior was improved slightly in the TAS5352A. This should reduce “popping” when coming out of reset when operating in SE mode. I hope this helps!
