Dear All,
I had build a double sided proto-board in reference with Ti's TPA3123D2-EVM board. My problem is that when ever I am trying it out with linear power supply it is working but when I am trying it out with wall-adaptar o/p or smps its getting hot at no-load,no signal condition . Shutdown,Mute voltages are OK , even the output is at half-supply but the IC is getting hot & no output is coming out.
But the EVM is working with both of supplies. Any suggestion??
I can post the Layout in pdf if required.
Hi, Avijit,
Sorry for the delay...
I suspect a problem with your output filter. Can you remove C119 and C120 and see if the problem goes away?

Any update?
Sorry I was in something else for quite a time. I had removed those caps of 0.68uF but the result is the same.
I want to ask I had connected 10UF elco cap instead of ceramic with Pin20,19 of TPA3123d2. Would it cost some problem????????
That's interesting... With no load, is something odd happening with your power supply due to light load?
Hi Don,
I dont think so as the TI's EVM board is running fine with SMPS only my proto-board is having problem at start-up.

Avijit,
Have you looked at the signals on a scope? Maybe the supply is oscillating when loaded by your board?
