In most differential amplifier circuits, the goal is to reject common-mode signals. I have a particular noise reduction scheme in which it's appropriate to do the opposite. I'm looking for the simplest way to compare two audio signals and reject their difference. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Hi,
maybe all too simple, but why not use a difference amp or INA followed by an inverter? The inverter output feeding two difference amps, each of whiches one input is fed from the associated audio channel directly and the second input fed from the inverter. It should then subtract the difference between the audio signals from the audio signals.

I'll have to pay close attention to relative phase, but I think that just might work. :) Thanks. Great idea.
I got the phase issue handled. Nice.
