Hello.
We used in our devices TAS5548 chips. Recently we decided to try TAS5558. According to TI documentation on Evaluation Board TAS55548EVM (http://www.ti.com/tool/tas5548evm): " To evaluate the TAS5558, simply replace the IC...". So we soldered TAS5558 chip instead of TAS5548. But there is no I2C connection to it. Then we bought TAS55548EVM board and replaced TAS5548 with TAS5558. And we've got the same problem. Pure Path indicate the I2C connection error.
Are this chips really interchangeable?
