TPA3111 PLIMIT Calculation Spreadsheet: We are using a Loudspeaker with a maximum output power of 3W with a 12V supply to the TPA3111, and intend to use the PLIMIT function to enforce a limit on the output power, but we are unable to replicate the sample calculations shown in Table 2 of the Data Sheet? On this forum, we have also noted the existence of supporting Spreadsheets for other members of the TPA family. Could you please forward us a Spreadsheet for the PLIMIT calculation of the TPA3111?

Thank you for the feedback; our application uses a nominal 8R Speaker impedance.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for the follow up on any existing PLIMIT Calculation Spreadsheet for the TPA3111, when you get a chance. In the interim, we will use the provided references in the Data Sheet and some Bench tests to qualify the device behavior.

Hi Paul,

I'm also using the TPA3111D1 in my project. I have a 8R speaker, and I'm supplying the TPA3111 with 12V. I try to limit the output power to 5W. I plan to use GAIN0 et GAIN1 to modify the gain, but the nominal value will be 20dB.

I don't understand your spreadsheet. On the datasheet SLOS618E, the p12 explain the calculation, but the value on the table don't seem to match.
