DRV603EVM problem

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV603EVM, DRV603

I purchased the DRV603EVM board from TI, but found that the output clicks considerably when enabling/disabling the board.  After some investigation I found that the following components on the circuit board were incorrectly populated:

  1. R33 was populated with a 220pF capacitor
  2. C28 was populated with a 5.60k resistor
  3. R27 was populated with a 220pF capacitor
  4. C23 was populated with a 5.60k resistor

The net result was the DRV603 output was biased at about +2.5V instead of 0V.

I changed these components to match the schematic, and now the circuits operates normally, with no DC offset in the output.  I wonder if other people are experiencing the same issue, or if I just got a defective board?
