lmv 1032 configuration

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMV1032

I had buyed some lmv 1032  to test it amplifying the signal of the microphone on mi protect. I was looking this amplifiers (with a microscope) but I can´t find the configuration of the Pins. Looking on the data sheet it has an rectangle and a red cross but looking on the device I didn't find any difference betwin the pins, and I can´t know where is the input, output and source power.

Could you tell me any tip to find the distribution of the pins?

And do you have any recomendation for the solding temperature ??

Best regards and thanks

  • Did you see any number at the x location?
Take a look at this thread: https://e2e.ti.com/support/amplifiers/audio_amplifiers/int-audio_amplifiers/f/8/t/377446

  • Hi Andy,

When I try to open the web page that you tell in your post it tell me this mesage:
You do not have permission to view/download this item.

Tomorrow I will take a look in the x location and I will tell you.

    Thanks

  • Hi Luis,

It's OK. Just take a look and see what you can find.

  • Hi Andy,

Thanks for your information. I can find a + near one pin in the corner. With this and the data sheet I have all conected and amplifiing the imput signal of mi signal generator. wonderfull

But I have now more questions about this amplifier.

I´m using a knowles electret microphone  BEM-233446  is the first of the list, you can download specifications there:

    http://www.knowles.com/eng/Products/Microphones/Hearing-instrument/EM-BEM-series

Without any source of sound the microphone give me a 0.6volts of dc current. And for example if the sound is a sine wave, the microphone generates this sine wave but with this "offset of 0.6Volts dc".I would like to use your amplifier to the first step aconditioning the signal to mi ADC.

But I think that first I need to center the microphone signal in 0 volts not 0.6 (I think). I was thinking in a condenser in serial betwin the microphone and the LMV1032 but with other amplifiers after connect the ADC the singnal center again to the 0.6 V ???

I have experience with DSP and I´m a little losed in this part of our project, lossing more time than we taught.

Thank you very much for your help
