TPA4411 Voltage Tolerance of Output FETs

Hi,

Could you please tell us the voltage tolerance for the output fets which are connected OUTR and OUTL ?
Is our understanding correct although we believe that it is a double of the recommended supply voltage, in other words it is 9V ?

Hi, Kato-san,

Sorry for the delay. The VDD is rated for an ABS MAX of 5.5V. You should not take the outputs more than 0.3V above VDD.

What is the issue that you are concerned about?

I understood and guess that our customer would like to grasp it to considers the workaround for the pop noise issue.

Hi, Kato-san,

Unfortunately, the TPA4411 has a higher amount of pop than our newer devices. If pop is a key care-about, I suggest you propose they use the TPA6132A2 which has absolutely ZERO pop. The TPA6133A2 is also pretty good as well if they want to driver higher impedance head phones.
