TPA3110D2 Output Shutting Down

Hi,

According to the datasheet for the TPA3110D2, the output shuts down when the dc output offset voltage is 15mV(max). When testing, the output shut off even when the offset voltage is in the 100s of mV.

Is there a reason why this is happening?

I'm not sure I follow what you're saying.

The voltages in Table 3 are minimums. If the voltage exceeds those values, then the DC detect will trip. Can you include a schematic of the circuit having issues?

Hi, EJ,

The max DC output offset of the DC detection protection depends on gain settings. The DS table 3 shows the gain vs Vin. To confirm that DC detect triggered the protection you will need to measure the output PWM duty cycle as described in the DS. When your device shut down, does recycling the SD pin help to recover the device or only recycling the PVCC works?
