Equivalent part to MAX98309/MAX98310

Hello,

I want to use a 1.2W Mono Power Amplifier as a Preamplifier for our application driving the Output to another Power Amplifier LM4780.Is there any Audio Amplifier ICs which will act as Preamplifiers.I searched in Maxim MAX98309/MAX98310.

Is there any Equivalent part in TI in different Package with that Wattage?

    Hi, Suneetha,

    I don't understand why you need such a highly rated device. I don't even understand why you need a pre-amp at all.

    Can you explain a little more so we can help you find the best solution?

     HelloSir,

    Our Project is Passenger Information Systems-AC Coaches.We want to have audio announcement of the next coming station in trains.In our RDSO spec it was like this as CODEC ----> Preamplifier (>1.2W Mono/BTL) -----> Power Amplifier  ----> 100V Audio Line LMT.

    In our audio chain we used ICs for this as VS1053 (CODEC) ----> MAX98302(Preamplifier) --->LM4780(Power Amplifier) --->100V Audio Line LMT.

    In this cocept of Audio Chain, all sections are OK except Preamplifier.We are getting problem with MAX98302 when interfaced to LM4780 because it is a Class-D Amplifier requiring an LC filter at the output,which is critical to get the pure sinsuiodal signal to LM4780.

    We want to use Class-AB Amplifier as Preamplifier.So we want to use MAX9718 instead of MAX98302 which is a Class-AB Power Amplifier to use it as a Audio Preamplifier.But that IC is having differential inputs and differential Outputs.

    I need an IC which will meet the  spec of RDSO with wattage of >1.2W working in Mono mode acting as preamplifier.

    In this chain of Audio,CODEC circuit and Power Amplifier circuit are ready and were tested.Only Preamplifier section is getting problem with the given Spec.

    Please give suggestions on this and urgent also.
