TAS5760M Type of ANA_REF Pin

Hi,

Could you please confirm the type of the ANA_REF pin just in case although there is mentioned on page 5 of the data sheet as below?
It seemed that the ANA_REF pin is shorted to GND when we verified it.
Which is correct?

Hello Kato-San,

Sorry for the delay. ANA_REF is the pin for the internal reference of analog regulators. This pin's function is to serve as a connection for the capacitors that are connected to ANA_REG and VCOM. It is stated as a Power type pin because it should not be tied to system GND.

Kato-san.

There's no special circuit block diagram for ANA_REF. It's an internal quiet ground reference made to prevent noise injection to VCOM referenced circuits. What is the concern? You can connect the pin to ground, but we don't recommend it because it can lead to noise injected into the PLL circuits.

Thank you for explaining in detail.
I was confused since the potential of ANA_REF pin was same with ground when I evaluated it although that pin type which is mentioned in the data sheet is "power".
So, I asked you about that.
Then, do you have any plans to revise the data sheet?
