Prototyping HTSSOP 48 (tas5756m)

Hi all

I was wondering if there were any HTSSOP48 adapters available on the market. I have found TSSOP48 adapters online, but no luck with HTSSOP. 

Would it be a disaster if I soldered a HTSSOP48 into a TSSOP48 adapter?  The thermal pad wouldn't be connected but If I run the ample through an 8ohm load at 1-2 watts for testing it might be work out fine?

    Hello Rishab,

    I would recommend trying the TSSOP-48 adapter card you found for 1-2W testing with 8ohms load. We don't have a TSSOP adapter board with the thermal pad that I'm aware of. I have tested TSSOP in socketed boards without the thermal pad soldered down and was able to successfully test up to 5W at room temp. Using a fan or thermostream to help with device cooling will also help give you some more margin thermally for your testing power levels.
