I can't get my TAS5624EVM to work. I downloaded the latest version of the TAS5558 GUI Files. I get 0x00 when i try to read register 0x00, and it should be 0x6C according to the users guide. I can connect from the GUI program but I don't think that means anything as it says it connects even without the USB cable connected... I have checked that windows recognizes the HID device properly.
I connect it and turn on the power supplies exactly as instructed in the users guide.
I tried with two different EVMs, two different computers (Windwos 8 and 7). Same problem.
There are lots of jumpers with no information in the user guide on what they do. Possible problem? I have not moved any if them.
My EVM has the TAS5538 modulator, the it's only possible to download TAS5558 GUI Files. Might that be the problem? How do I get the GUI for my modulator?
