Is it possible to use a potentiometer  to balance volume on the channels of the TPA6138A2

    Yes, it's possible, but I might propose a better solution: TPA6130A2 - it has I2C volume control, so you can control the volume without the use of a manual potentiometer.

    Thanks for the response,  I saw the TPA6130A2 when I looked up headphone amplifiers. Because of my lack of experience I was not sure how to create a I2C volume control.  My intended product requires volume control, left and right balance and a mute button.  Please advise me how this done with I2C.
