Using DRV632 to create an Audio-balanced line driver possible?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV632, DRV134

DRV632 contains two opamps and uses single supply, so if each opamp are fed the same single ended audio signal (one of the opamps inverted) this would make a low cost single supply Audio-balanced line driver - right? Good low cost alternative to DRV134?

  • Hi, Oyvind,

Welcome to E2E and thank you for your interest in our products.

The DRV632 is a 2-VRMS pop-free stereo line driver designed to avoid the use of the output DC-blocking capacitors. We cannot guarantee that you application will work correctly if the device is used for other purposes. We suggest to use the DRV134 which is designed to this kind of applications to ensure the best performance.
