Hi 

Can I use TPA3118d2 chip with MCP1319 chip for longer power on reset and disabling amplifier on fault conditions? This chip has 5V supply and push-pull outputs. Here is my schematics

    Hi Marcin,

    As shown, you will get ~200mS of reset time; if you want longer than that you'll need to go with one of the devices that have a Watch-dog Timer (WDT). This will of course mean "stroking" the WDT...

    If you want total control of the power-up and reset, any of the devices in the Microchip PIC10Fxxxx or PIC12Fxxxx can do it for the same money, though there will be programming involved of the device. If you'd like more info or help with this please PM me.
