TPA5050 synchronization of data

Hi

We have following questions about synchronization of TPA5050 output.

1. Is the synchronization of data with the BCLK and LRCLK guaranteed after delay
operation has been done?

2. When we would delay BCLK and LRCLK by 8191 samples, would the data synchronize to the clock which is
after 8191 sampled?

At the first, does it keep silence until the delayed data output?

Is that audio data "not played" (missed) for 8191 sample delay period?

BestRegards

  • Hi, na,

    1. All synchronization of our audio devices is made correctly when the I2S clocks are applied after the registers configuration. I mean, all the audio devices must be configured first and then the I2S clocks must be applied.

    2. The TPA devices only delay the audio data. This means that the data will be buffered for a configurable period of time. So, there won't be any missed data. It will keep silence until the configured delay is reached.
