No output when 2k pull-down resistor is added

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5733L, TAS5711, TAS5707

Hi team,

My customer, CVT, is using our TAS5733L. They found that if we put a 2k pull down resistor to ground during power-up, then there would be no PWM output on the output pin. If we remove the 2k pull down resistor, PWM will appear.

I have tested TAS5733L with our EVM in the lab, and the same thing happened.

Can you help explain why? Thanks.

Best regards,

Vio Liu
