Hi Jerry,

The minimum load impedance is mentioned on Page 6 of TAS5766M datasheet. Note that it depends on the PVCC voltage.

BTL or PBTL? If you were talking about BTL configuration, 1.5 ohm speaker is out of spec.

Hi Jerry,

Actually there exists a good linear relation between the PBTL minimum load impedance and PVCC if you do some simple plotting in Excel. The PBTL minimum load impedance for PVCC@20V should be very close to 1.53ohm based on the equation below.

I would suggest you lower the PVCC to 18V if possible.
