TPA3255: Clock to slave device

Hi,

A customer uses five TPA3255. One device is a master and the remaining four are used as slave devices.
He plans to control operation of slave devices by H/L of respective RESET pin, and continue supplying a clock by the master to all slave devices whether they are operating or not. Is there any problem?

Hello Ito-San,

There shouldn't be any problem. I just checked this with two devices in the lab. With master in reset and slave not in reset - slave works fine. With slave in reset and master not in reset master works fine. I even checked over transistions reset and it doesn't look like there will be any audible effects. I think you should be fine for this application.

we have some issue as same

We using 2 x tpa3255 for 175W o/p each in PBLT mode

but when we check the output of 2 tpa3255 working properly for around 70W after that the Master get Reset (Every time)

Slave working properly & supporting till 170W .

May I know where is the Issue
