Do I need to connect the PGA2311 ICs (CS-chip select) pin to a micro controller pin? Or can I connect that CS pin all the time low? I have only one PGA2311 IC & one micro controller.

The data sheet doesn’t mentioned when the “DATA IN” will latch to the PGA IC. At the end of the 16 bit binary code automatically the "DATA IN" will latch or after sending 16 bit binary code do I need to make “HIGH” the “CS” pin to lath this data?

This is my problem.

I'm sorry to point it out, but you'll need to latch it.

I'm sure there's another pin on that processor somewhere [;)]

The PGA2311 latches the serial word on the rising edge of /CS. You must use CS, it is also security feature that will prevent miss whithing into the part.

Thats the point I needed.So I need to CS pin from low to high transition to latch the data.So I need to keep 3 pins from the micro controller to access the PGA (SDA,SCK,CS).
