TPA2028D1YZFEVM: Audio output from the TPA2028D1

I have procured a TPA2028D1YZFEVM and working on windows 10 OS. I have installed the TPA2028D1 Interface GUI software.I have connected the EVM with the laptop using the USB cable and able to read/write on I2C. I have connected the EVM audio input to the Laptops audio output jack. The Left and ground signals from the audio jack cable are connected to the JP_IN connector. On the JP_OUT I have a connected a 8ohm, 1.5W speaker. I could not get any audio output. Attaching snapshots for your reference. Need some help

    Could you provide the register setting? in order to review it and make sure that is configured properly.

  • Mohammad Rafi,

    I have used your register setting on the EVM and works normally. I think the problem could be caused by three factors:
    1) Check the EVM driver is working properly. You could check it setting communication between the GUI and EVM.
    2) Make sure that the input signal is arriving at the device.
    3) Make sure that the speaker works. You could connect another speaker to check it.
