TAS5756M: TAS5756M: TAS5756M is 3-wire slave mode. If the bclk is 1.536MHZ, LRCLK is 48KHZ, Format is 16bit can support HYbirdFlow?

TAS5756M is 3-wire slave mode. If the bclk is 1.536MHZ, LRCLK is 48KHZ, Format is 16bit can support HYbirdFlow?

  • Hello Honway! Are you also providing a MCLK, and/or are you getting clocking errors? Also, Andy can verify this for you. Thanks, Jeff
  • Hi Andy,

On our device, TAS5756M is using 3-wire I2S slave mode.  BCLK and MCLK are using the same clock source from AP, we disabled AUTO SET MODE, and set BCLK as PLL ref .

If in AP side we configure I2S PCM_FORMAT to be 24 bits, BCLK = 3.07M and set TAS5756M 0x28 reg to be 0x20, set HybridFlow DSP reg 0x2B to be 0X1F, sound is OK through spk.

If in AP side we configure I2S PCM_FORMAT to be 16 bits, BCLK = 1.53M and set TAS5756M 0x28 reg to be 0x00, set HybridFlow DSP reg 0x2B to be 0X01. sound is OK through spk.

If in AP side we configure I2S PCM_FORMAT to be 16 bits, BCLK = 1.53M and set TAS5756M 0x28 reg to be 0x00, set HybridFlow DSP reg 0x2B to be 0X1F. there is no sound from spk.

Would you please help check how to configure HybridFlow DSP to work on above settings? Thanks.

    BRs.

  • Hi Dong,

Take a look at my answer in the e2e thread below.
