Technics SUVX 920 OPAMPS Replacment

Sorry for posting here hopefully i am right here.

I cannot find a crosseference from Ti for the following Opamps in my old but very good amplifier

Technics SUVX -920.

I already replaced in the PHONO PREAMP the

µPC 4570C with OPA2134PA

and in the TONE AMP

µPC450C with OPA2134PA

IT SOUNDS GREAT AND WORKS.

But now I want to change the Mitsubishi M5218AP in the EXTEND ACTIVE SERVO DRIVE

and the two Mitsubishi M5219P in the CASCADE CURRENT and MIRROR

to better Burr Brown too.

I cannot find any crossreference at the TI side.

Maybe somebody can help me......

Do you need DIP, SOIC or some other package?

Hi
I think the good old dip is the right answer.
Otherwise a adaptor plate sop-dip makes a good decision...
The Amp. Is from the 90th so dip...

M5218 replacement options (9 options)

M5219P replacement might need 50V support. OPA2604 supports 48V.

If 5219 supply is less than 36V, then you can use any of the M4218 replacement choices.

Tnx for the answer!!
In the diagram the opamps are marked with the following:
The M5218 runs at pin 4 at -24.5V and at pin 8 at +14.6V
The M5219ers runs at pin 4 at -9.5V and at pin 8 at +9.5V

Maybe that helps a bit

Do you have that backwards? You have 39.1V on the M5218 which has a absolute maximum voltage rating of 36V

Hi Ron

Maybe some schematics will help you.
Is it possible to send two of them to you?
How can I do that. Its PDF.

The first is from SUVX 820.
The second (not a good one) is from SUVX 920, which is my Amp.
Maybe I have read the wrong because of the "bad condition" of the schematic.

So now at SUVX 820 and at SUVX920 the IC651 (OPAMP) is a M5218.
The SUVX 820 is quite similar to the SUVX 920 with a bit more power, and four power transitors more

M5218 at SUVX820:
PIN 8 at 14.3V and PIN 4 at -14V

than at SUVX 920(bit more power):
PIN 8 at 14.6V and PIN 4 at -14.5 (hopefully read)

For that supply voltage any of the nine M5218 replacement mentioned on Wednesday (the 18th) should do well.

Is it possible to renew the "search link" so that all 9 are available....
