A Purepath-CMBEVM (version G) and a TAS5751M Evaluation Module are connected.
USB and 24V are applied. Audio is playing via speakers and audio can be listened to via the headphones.
Refering to the documentation: 1.3 PurePath Console Motherboard Detailed Operations
"Upon power-on, the PPCMB uses optical SPDIF input (default).
The I2S signals can be seen with an oscilloscope probe at the pin headers LRCLK, SCLK, SDIN, and MCLK."
My experiences: Upon power on, the PPC3 software has to be started and "End system Integration" or Audio Processing" has to be started, after which software is loaded and the amplifier is able to play music.
I expect, like the documentation is suggesting, that the board can play audio at power on from optical input at once including the delivery of all I2S signals at the pin headers.
Second question:
I have tried about all possible settings with the PPC3 (PurePath Console 3) software to get via the edge connector I2S signals to an external TAS5751 amplifier board, but only on pin DOUT a digital signal can be displayed on a oscilloscope.
There is no LRCLK nor BCLK signals. MCLK is not required to have the TAS5751 play audio.
So how can the board outputs all I2S signals for external use?
