Dear Sirs,

My customer asked us about latency of TAS5751M.

He wants latency within a few milliseconds.

So I have the following questions.

1.How long is the delay time (latency) with no effect function (Through condition)?

2.How long is the delay of this function?

　Of course I know that it will change with the number of BIEQ used.

Please let me know about above questions.

Could you please let me know custmer's requirement(how much latency is expected)?

As you know, BQ and DRC will introduce latency on the datapath. Even BQ and DRC are disabled, there are some other logic delay inside the deivce(e.g. after digital processing, there is FIR block which up-sample the signal from 48kHz to 384kHz/768kHz, it usually causes more than 20 LRCLK delay).

And the latency also depends on the sampling rate. The latency is shorter with higher sampling rate.

I have not got the condition from my customer.

I do not get the condition from the customer and I can not get it right away.

By the way I found below post.

Under the condition that dap is bypassed, I think that it is almost determined by sample rate and interpolation filter.
Is this correct?
