TPA2017D2: Only one input is used

Part Number: TPA2017D2

Hi there,

As title, what should we do to the input that's not used? Should we ground it or leave it floating?

Thanks!

Best regards,

Roy Hsu

  • Hi Roy,

Both options are right, so the input could be left floating or tied to ground. But you should take into account that if the input channel doesn't receive an input signal the output channel doesn't deliver an output signal.
I recommend you using Mono Class-D Audio Amplifier if you will just use one channel.
