TAS6424Q1EVM: TAS6424Q1=>What is MOD INT

Part Number: TAS6424Q1EVM

Hi,

I saw TAS6424Q1 EVM layout file, some of file include MOD INT.

What is MOD INT?

Warm Regards,

Lin

  • Lin,
    I have sent this to our TIDesigns group for an answer. This is not the EVM schematics design package.
  • Thanks Gregg.
  • "Mod Int" is an abbreviation for "Module Interface." There are actually two circuit boards in this design. The primary board has the TAS6424 on it, so it has no name associated with it in the TI Design page. The primary board could be considered the "Module" board. The Module Interface provides an easy means to connect the module board for testing. The module Interface board has some EMI filtering components on it and some connectors to input analog audio ant power and for the speaker outputs. It also can be used to form a Faraday cage with the metal box mentioned in the TIDA-00743 test report.
